What is depression?
"Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me?" Psalm 43:5
As the psalmist inquired in his Psalm asking, why he was downcast, we too can at times experience feelings and thoughts of sadness, hopelessness, loneliness and sometimes the loss of will or motivation to live.
